Who takes care of your memory
I'm André Novaes, a photographer and visual artist. I started by restoring photos from my own family, and I understood how much a recovered image can mean to the person receiving it.
Today, after more than a decade working in photography and visual production, I turn that care into a service. Every photo that reaches me carries a story, and I treat each one as if it were from my own family.

Can I just send the photo from my phone?
Yes, you can send it over WhatsApp or through the form on this site, either works. I'll confirm as soon as I get it.
How long does the restoration take?
It depends on the photo's condition and how busy things are, but most requests are ready within a few days. I'll tell you the exact timeline in the quote, before you decide anything.
The photo is torn, moldy, or badly faded. Can it still be restored?
Most of the time, yes. I've recovered torn photos, stained ones, even water damage (there's an example in the before-and-after section). Send it exactly as it is, and I'll tell you honestly what's possible.
What if I don't like the result?
You only approve payment after seeing the quote and timeline, so there are no surprises. And if something in the final result isn't quite right, we talk it through and adjust it.
Is delivery digital only, or do I get a printed photo?
I deliver a digital file in high resolution, ready for you to print wherever you like. I also offer printing packages if you'd rather receive the photo already printed, prices on request.
Does this work for very old, faded black-and-white photos?
It does. That's literally one of the services I offer: bringing back color and recovering what time has worn away. The older and more faded the photo, the more striking the result usually is.
